Hi!! It sounds like you guys all had a great Christmas!! Mine was good too!! It was fun to face time you guys on the 24th!! The rest of the 24th was good. First, we went and ate dinner at a less actives house. Then after that the zone leaders called us and invited us to eat at another members house. I ate so many tamales that night!! On the 25th we ate all together as missionaries for lunch. Then after that we visited a member of our branch named Martin. He had stroke two years ago so he has to get around in a wheel chair now and he doesn't have any family here. We visited with him and then we gave him the book Jesus the Christ as a gift. He loved it! After that we went and ate at a members house and we ate more tamales.... Today was also fun. I ate two habanero peppers. It was awful!! But supposedly I'm going to learn Spanish much faster now:) I love you all and hope you all have a great week:) -Elder Anderson |

Hola!! Not much happened this week so this will be another short letter. This week was tough. Every week our area is getting harder and harder. We're losing investigators instead of gaining more. Right now our most promising investigators are Ricardo y Melissa, and La Familia Rivera. But even they aren't progressing like we would want them to. So a lot of this week was spent walking in the street with nothing to do. But its okay because its good excercise..... haha. But really this area is beating us both down and we aren't sure what do to. All we can do though is put our trust in the Lord and see what happens though so vamos a ver.
There is a park in Caborca called La Plaza de seis de Abril, and we are going to sing there as missionaries this Thursday. Guess who they picked to sing a solo..... yup.... me. I guess ever since I sang in general conference I'm a professional or something. Ah man Mexico is in for a treat. Well that's it for this week!! I love you all!! -Elder Anderson This week I completed 3 months in the mission. Que rapido no? Let's see... What happened this week? The Familia Rivera wants to be baptized, but we have a rule in our mission that our investigators have to attend church 5 times before they can be baptized. And the Familia Rivera works on Sundays. They are going to pray and then ask their boss if they can change their hours. We got some new investigators named Ricardo and Melissa. Ricardo is a member but he's inactive. We have taught them two times now and they are progressing really well. They have done their homework both times and said that they feel really good when they read and pray. We have appointments with the Familia Rivera and Ricardo and Melissa today so we'll see what happens. We have also been visiting with an inactive member named Moises. He's about 25 and he's super cool. He owns a video editing business and he does videos for weddings and stuff like that. He's super cool and lets us come over anytime we want. We are going to introduce him to a guy in the branch and hopefully they can become friends and he become active again. I think that is all for now. Sorry its not much. The truth is that our area is super difficult and we are having trouble finding new people to teach. But we're working and working and working and we know that when we're obedient and worthy the Lord will provide a way. Love you all!!
