Okay. Sorry for this very belated letter home. The first week I missed was because we had to travel to Hermosillo for a meeting. The second week I had transfers so I had to travel from Penasco to Nogales (11 hours in bus). And the third week we got busy and the internet wasn't working. But this week I have no excuses:) So I'm in Nogales which is a border town. It's also the only town I haven't been in yet on my mission so I've now been to every city:) I'm with Elder Schlappi and we've been best friends throughout the mission so it's a dream come true to be able to work with him in the end of our mission. We're zone leaders and we have 28 missionaries and sisters in our zone. Everyone is working super hard and we're expecting great things from this zone these next two transfers.
We opened this area so we had to start from scratch. We found 40 new people to teach the first week and out of those people we have a few individuales and families that are really starting to progress. We're working hard and leaving everything on field so that the Lord will see our sacrifice and bless us with a miracle. I just feel so blessed and humble with what the Lord has done for me in my mission. It truly is a blessing to be his hands here on earth.
In church on Sunday I gave a talk on the atonement. I based most of it on the book you sent me Believing Christ. Amazing book. It has completely changed my view of the atonement and has helped me appreciate it more. I'm so thankful that even as imperfect as I am, Christ loves me enough to save me, and I want EVERYONE here to understand and feel that too. I love you!!!
