Man, this week has FLOWN by. Only two more weeks and then we have transfers. It's crazy how fast the time goes. Our President is coming this Saturday for one last conference before he goes home. He goes home like on the 30th and our new President gets here on like the 20th, so they'll be together for about a week so the new one can learn.
This week started out really well with an awesome lesson with Jose y Tania. We hadn't been able to visit them for a while, but we were able to teach them on Monday. The lesson went really well. We just reviewed what we had already taught and Tania told us that she had already read all of 1st Nephi!!! We hadn't even asked her to but she did and she said she really liked it. They're progressing really well, we just need to get them to church. We have a lesson with them tonight so we'll see how it goes.
Also, we were finally able to find that guy that I contacted from Chiapas. We've had two lessons with him so far and it's been great. He loves having us over and he tells us that he feels like were brothers. Haha, we told him were the chapel was and when he realized it was pretty close he was super happy he said "Que felicidad!!".
On Wednesday I went on intercambios with Elder Reyes over in Empalme. It went really well except for one lesson. We were teaching this 16 year old girl and she could not understand me!!! That was the first time that's happened on my mission and it was so frustrating and it made me super self conscience of my Spanish. But through prayer and practice I feel confident with my Spanish again:)
On Friday we were having a pretty hard day because ALL of our appointments were falling through, but we kept working because we figured it was a test:) Well at the end of the day we found this awesome new family to teach and I super excited to see them progress.
Normalicia y Salvador weren't able to come to church this week because Salvador finally found some work (only because he's been coming to church) so they've been busy lately. But they still want to be baptized.
Remember that guy that came to church last week? He came again this week!!! We hadn't even visited him through the week because he lives in the sisters area. But he came and really liked it.
This transfer has been amazing and I'm sad that it's coming to an end already. The only thing I can do is make the most of these next two weeks:) I love you all!!! Adios!!
