Christmas Eve and Christmas are hard days to work for missionary's because everyone is busy with family party's, but this Christmas we tried something different. We bought sweet bread and visited people that don't have family and we found homeless people and we'd give them bread and sing them a hymn. We also went in front of shopping centers and sang. I've never felt the spirit so strong on Christmas. I've never felt so close to my Savior. The invitation from Jesus has always been the same "Follow Me". But how do we follow him if first we don't find him? And how do we find him if first we don't seek him? The formula for finding has always been and always will be the same, the earnest and sincere prayer of a humble and pure heart. Before we can successfully start a personal search for Jesus, we must first prepare time for him in our lives. We have time for golf, time for shopping, time for work, time for play, but no time for Christ. Homes provide rooms for eating, sleeping, playing, sewing, television, but no room for Christ. I invite all of you to make room for Christ this year. He's always at your door knocking, you just have to let him in. I love you!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!! It's been a crazy busy couple of weeks so I haven't been able to write very much. But I have been GREAT!! On Monday we had a mission wide conference so all the missionaries in the mission came and we had a fun activity. Christmas was also amazing. This has been by favorite Christmas ever. Even though it didn't feel anything like the "Christmas" I used to know. Instead of being a white and cold Christmas, it was hot and dusty. Instead of being surrounded by family, I was alone. But I really wasn't alone, because I've never felt closer to my Savior.
