Anyway. On Wednesday and Thursday I went to Hermosillo to renew my visa. It was fun because I got to see a bunch of old friends from the MTC. We had a great time talking about old memories. I cant imagine what its going to be like after the mission.
This week was pretty hard. But God saw our sacrifice and blessed us with an awesome sacrament meeting. We had a lot of investigators in church and he blessed with 2 more super chosen investigators. I realized that I´ve been really prideful and I´ve been focusing too much on my on power and efforts and I haven´t been allowing the Lord to work in my hue. I love the CS Lewis quote "Imagine yourself as a living house. God comes in to rebuild that house. At first, perhaps, you can understand what He is doing. He is getting the drains right and stopping the leaks in the roof and so on; you knew that those jobs needed doing and so you are not surprised. But presently He starts knocking the house about in a way that hurts abominably and does not seem to make any sense. What on earth is He up to? The explanation is that He is building quite a different house from the one you thought of - throwing out a new wing here, putting on an extra floor there, running up towers, making courtyards. You thought you were being made into a decent little cottage: but He is building a palace. He intends to come and live in it Himself.”
I´m really trying to humble myself and allow the Savior to make me into the person that he wants me to be. It may be painful a vices and I may not understand what he´s doing to me but it will make me better in the end.
I love you!!!
