Hey everyone!! I'm doing great, just to let you all know. Umm.... okay lets see. On Sunday I had meetings all day, because I'm the District President so I had to take care of a bunch of stuff all day. It's a lot of work, but it's worth it! I love serving all of the Elders in my district. In the evening we had a really good MTC wide devotional. It talked about how we have to be our own first convert. We have to convert ourselves before we can covert others. On Monday we started our regular class schedule that we'll have for the next 4 weeks. Here's the schedule: 6:10 wake up, 7:00 eat breakfast, 7:30 be to the classroom for instruction/study time, 10:30 Gym time, 12:00 lunch, 1:00 classroom for instruction/study time, 4:30 dinner, 5:30 classroom for instruction/study time, 9:00 return for apartments to prepare for bed, 10:30 lights out. We have P day on Saturday. It may seem like we have a lot of time to get stuff done, but we hardly have any free time throughout the day. By the end of the day I'm absolutely exhausted! It's a good exhausted though, because I'm doing the Lords work. Me and my companion get along great. His name is Elder Call and he's from Detroit, Michigan. We get along great! We both love to play pranks and sports, but mostly pranks. I'm not going to go into details on that subject.... Umm.... lets see. A really cool spiritual experience that happened to me this week was when I received an answer to a prayer. During the Sunday night devotional I was inspired to pray to God and ask with all my heart if he was real. So on Monday night I prayed the hardest I ever have, asking if he was real and if a mission is where I'm supposed to be. On Tuesday we were teaching our investigator about the restoration. During the lesson I was teaching her about how God sent down his son, Jesus Christ, to die for us. While I was teaching about it I became so overcome with the spirit I started to cry and I had to stop talking for a second. I know that it was an answer to my prayer that God and Jesus Christ live and that there is no other place I would rather be than on my mission. I challenge all of you to set your testimony aside for a night and pray to God asking if he is real. I know that you will receive an answer. Haha, okay so me and my companion like to work out every night. We do push ups, pull ups, and sit ups. But there really isn't anywhere around our apartment to do pull ups. So we have a spare bedroom with a bunk bed in it. We took the mattress's off the bunk bed, tilted it on its side, and now its a perfect work out cage. But the inspection people came and told us we had to take it down..... So now we just use a tree outside to do pull ups. The Hermana's love it..... haha just kidding they make fun of us. Well, that's all for now. Just know that I'm having the time of my life. We're constantly laughing and having a blast, but at the same time were learning so much and our testimonies are growing exponentially. I love and miss you all. Adios. (oh ya and my Spanish sucks so far just in case you were wondering) Love, Elder Anderson |
