Man this week has flown by!!! Like honestly it's crazy how fast it went!!! I guess that just means it was a good one:) It started out pretty slow on Monday. I think Satan is working really hard on us right now because he knows how much potential we have. It was really hard to get lessons on Monday, but we had some good lessons including some with Lizbeth. We're also still finding quite a few new investigators to teach. We actually have a cita with a really cool family tonight that I'm super excited for. I saw a lot of times this week when we taught completely by the spirit. We've also been having some problems with the Jehovah Witness people in our area. They've been going around saying lies about us mormons. But it's funny because we'll teach people and they'll be like "The testigos told us a bunch of stuff about you guys but it turns out that none of it is true and I actually like you guys better then them". haha I love it:) I just got done reading 3 Nefi and I loved it:) It's such a powerful book about Christ's visit to the America's. It's also a great chapter for our investigators to read because they can really relate to it, because it's talking about their ancestors. Well that's all for this week!! I love you all and hope you have a great week!!!! -Elder Anderson |

This was a great week. This is what every week in the mission should feel like. I can honestly look back at this week and say "Wow, I did everything I possibly could and the Lord blessed me for it". It's a great feeling at the end of the day when you crawl back into the house SUPER tired, but knowing that you did some good in the world and that you made a difference in someone's life. These past couple weeks we've found over 35 new people to teach and 20 of them have turned into new investigators. I'm honestly starting to feel overwhelmed with how much work we have, but it's a really good feeling.
One of our new investigators is named Lizbeth. She's 16 and her and aunt and cousins are taking the lessons too. She and her cousin came to church yesterday and they loved it!! Her mom told her that if she gets baptized she can't live with her anymore so Lizbeth is living with her grandma now. She has a baptismal date for the 16 of May and she's super excited. With so much going well we had to have something bad happen. On of the the families we're teaching named the famalia Terraza have been searching for an answer as to if the church is true. Well, they got into some anti-Mormon stuff online and now they're super confused about everything. It's just super sad how hard Satan works to stop the work. We had a cool experience this week. We had an appointment with a new investigator named Jose Jesus and we went but we wasn't there. We decided to go to the tianguis (a giant outdoor market where you can buy tons of cool stuff). We walked for about 30 minutes and we were just about to arrive at the tianguis when Elder Sanders looked at me and said, "What if I told you that if we don't go to the tianguis and go back to Jose Jesus he'll be in his house?" I just said "Dang it" and I turned around and started walking back. We showed up to his house again and knocked and..... he wasn't there. We wrote a little note to leave on the door and started walking away and then he showed up!!! We taught him a really good lesson about the Restoration. It was just a good experience about following the spirit. Haha, we were studying in the morning when we got a knock on the door. I opened it and there were two Jehovah Witness's. I have never seen so much fear in a man's face. He was probably like "Holy crap, a giant gringo missionary, I'm gonna die". I'm pretty sure he had to change his pants after that. Also, my birthday was really good. We didn't do anything special for it. Actually ya we did. We spent the day visiting and talking to people about the restored church of Jesus Christ and how it can help them in their lives. I guess that's pretty special:) I'm loving every second of my mission right now!!! Hard work truly pays off!!! I love you all and hope you have an amazing week!!! -Elder Anderson
