Man these weeks are going faster and faster. I feel like I just barely wrote you guys yesterday. Lets see.... It's getting hotter again. Finally! I'm sick of the cold. HAHAHA! I should've taken advantage of it though- because I'm sure I'll be missing it once summer hits.
This week went fast, but not much happened. We had cambios last Monday. We received 5 new missionaries in the zone. 2 gringo Elders, 1 gringa Hermana, and 2 latina Hermanas. It's always fun to get to know new missionaries.
On Friday we were sitting in the park and we saw this black guy. We had never seen a black guy in Mexico before so it was super weird. He had long dreads and everything. He came over and started talking to us. His name was Omar and he was from Honduras. He was in Texas for a little while but then he got deported to Mexico. He was making his way around Mexico trying to find a way to get back over the border illegally. We talked with him for like 10 minutes and then we went and sat down somewhere else. Then like 5 minutes later 25 police and the migration people showed up. They took Omar and one other guy and put them in the migration van. Looks like Omar is getting deported back to Honduras. It was super crazy!
The best thing that happened this week is that we finally had someone we're teaching show up to church. He's already a member just inactive. But hey I'll take it. He really enjoyed it and I hope he continues to come.
That's all for this week. The work is slow, but we keep working with faith in the Lord. We know that there is a reason we're in Caborca, we just have to find it.
I love you all.
