Hey everyone I'm almost on my fourth week in the MTC and I'm doing great. Some of this week has been rough though because I'm starting to get homesick. On Monday we just had class all day. On Tuesday we had a devotional with Richard G. Scott on prayer. It was really good and it helped to focus on giving more sincere prayers and talking to God. On Wednesday I was really homesick. And, I was really tired all day and I kept falling asleep in class. I think its because of all the junk food I've been eating lately. It's like a major shock to my body. But in the afternoon we taught our investigator Jacob and it went really well. He's progressing really well.
Thursday was the hardest day for me. We went to the Mexican Consulate to get our visas. The consulate is right by the Bee's stadium so I was really close to home. It was hard being so close but not being able to see any of you guys. But we rode the front runner back to the MTC and my good friend CJ ended up on the same train. So, we were able to talk for about an hour. (TENDER MERCIE!) It was really good to talk to him.
Friday was just a really long long day class.
Well, I'm more than halfway done with the MTC now and the end couldn't come soon enough. I can't wait to get to Mexico and start my adventure as a missionary. I know hard weeks like this will come but I know that through faith in Jesus Christ all things are possible. I'm sorry this is so short, not a lot goes on here. But I promise my letters will be longer once I get out in the field because I'll tell you all about all the miracles that happen (The first one being me learning the language)!!!! I love and miss you all and can't wait to hear from you.
